Educational market-state analysis
See the market’s current state — not a stock tip.
Marketframe turns crowded price history into a legible, explainable read on trend, volatility and momentum for the symbol and timeframe you choose. Every label shows the exact calculation behind it, so nothing is a black box.
Marketframe does not place trades, connect to a brokerage, or provide personalized investment advice. It is an original analysis workspace, not a signal service.
How it works
Three steps to a clearer read
Pick a symbol and timeframe
Choose from a curated list of supported equities, ETFs, crypto, FX and commodity symbols, then pick a timeframe from intraday through multi-year.
Read the annotated chart
An original candlestick view renders the price history with moving-average overlays, so structure is visible at a glance.
See the state, and why
Trend, volatility and momentum are each labeled in plain language, with the exact indicator, window and threshold shown underneath.
Methodology
Transparent inputs, not opaque scores
Every annotation is derived from public price and volume history using well-documented technical indicators. There is no proprietary scoring model, no prediction engine, and no hidden weighting — you can see precisely which numbers produced each label.
Trend structure
Compares the latest close against a short and long simple moving average. Stacked averages in one direction are reported as an uptrend or downtrend; anything else is range-bound.
Volatility
Uses Wilder's Average True Range (ATR) as a percentage of price, benchmarked against that same symbol's own trailing average, since typical ranges differ across assets.
Momentum
Relative Strength Index (RSI) and a MACD signal-line crossover describe recent gains versus losses and shifts in the rate of price change.
These are descriptive statistics about historical price behavior. Past patterns, including trend and momentum readings, do not predict future results. Markets can and do move against any observed condition.

Compare plansEducational information, not advice. Trend, volatility and momentum readings describe past price history only. They are not personalized investment advice, not a recommendation to buy or sell, and not a guarantee of future performance. Trading involves risk of loss.
